Review : First sail with the helmet and first sail on the boat. I fluffed the gybe and rather than fall into the sail decided to bail out backwards. Problem was that the centreboard rake put the trailing edge in line with the back of my head (Phillip Hughes style). Dint on the helmet and a bit of a shock but I kept racing. Since then the helmet has collected plenty of patina from the boom and continues to serve me well. It is light and comfortable and does not affect the perception of where the wind is coming from.
